Your role: helping our clients strengthen their technology resilience.

As part of our consulting team, you will advise organizations across a range of industries on IT disaster recovery and organizational resilience. You will bring structure to complex challenges, make technical concepts easier to understand and help clients build sustainable recovery practices.

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Consulting and Talent Development, you will lead and contribute to consulting engagements that help organizations prepare for technology disruptions and improve their ability to recover.

You will also play an active role in advancing PCI’s IT disaster recovery practice. By staying current on industry standards and emerging practices, you will help refine our methodologies, processes and consulting tools to better serve our clients.

The role also includes contributing to ParaSolution implementation projects. You will work with clients to understand their needs, coordinate onboarding activities with internal teams and ensure the platform is configured and delivered successfully.

Responsibilities

Consulting engagements:

  • Deliver IT disaster recovery and organizational resilience engagements for clients across a variety of industries.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and workshops to understand client needs, clarify key challenges and guide projects forward.
  • Develop clear, high-quality analyses and deliverables aligned with recognized standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide practical advice and make complex concepts accessible to support client decision-making.

Practice development

  • Improve the methodologies, processes, templates and tools used by the consulting team.
  • Keep up with evolving standards, trends and best practices in IT disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Share your knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the quality and consistency of our consulting services.

ParaSolution implementation

  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of new client implementations.
  • Assess configuration needs and coordinate solutions with the appropriate internal teams.
  • Guide clients through onboarding and confirm that the solution meets their needs before delivery.

Industry representation and visibility

  • Take part in awareness and outreach initiatives related to IT disaster recovery and organizational resilience.
  • Represent PCI through professional associations, conferences and other relevant industry activities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Your expertise

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, organizational resilience or a related technology risk field.
  • You have delivered consulting engagements or complex projects with both tactical and strategic components.
  • You are familiar with ISO 22301 and ISO 22313, as well as recognized practices in IT disaster recovery and business continuity management.
  • You hold a recognized business continuity certification, such as CBCI or CBCP.
  • You are fluent in both French and English, spoken and written. This is required to support clients across Canada and prepare deliverables in both languages.

  • You are comfortable planning and facilitating meetings, workshops and working sessions, and can explain complex concepts clearly.
  • You quickly understand client needs and can turn complex challenges into a clear, structured approach.
  • You bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and rigour to your work.
  • You work independently, take initiative and use sound judgement, while collaborating effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • You are service-oriented and know how to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Working conditions

  • Permanent, full-time position — 37.5 hours per week
  • Annual salary of $85,000 to $95,000, based on experience
  • Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required
