What you will learn in the BCI - Stakeholder Engagement for Resilience Professionals Course
The BCI Stakeholder Engagement for Resilience Professionals Course is a 1-day course that has been designed to develop the soft skills that underpin effective stakeholder engagement and management.
This course covers stakeholder identification and prioritization strategies as well as the soft skills such as communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence required in order to maintain effective relationships with stakeholder partners.
In line with these aims, the course is structured to cover:
- Mapping stakeholders and assessing how to work with and communicate with different stakeholders most effectively
- Using soft skills to engage with stakeholders in various contexts, including collaboration, influencing and negotiation
- Assessing leadership approaches when managing stakeholders and selecting the best methods in different business continuity situations
- Motivating stakeholders to contribute to business continuity activities
Throughout the course, students are encouraged to explore the issues and options in different contexts and apply these to their own situation.
This course includes
- An electronic copy of the BCI Good Practice Guidelines - Edition 7.0, valued at $90 USD or $120 CAD

Who is this course for?
The course is relevant to individuals responsible for managing or leading the development, implementation and/or maintenance of cross-organizational programmes such as business continuity, operational resilience or risk management.
