Since 2008, the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) has relied on Premier Continuum as its Francophone training partner to promote its good practices and support the development of business continuity competencies. This partnership is built on a shared vision: professionalising business continuity through training, grounded in recognised standards such as ISO and a strong, practice-oriented approach.

Starting in 2026, this collaboration will offer BCI training courses and certifications specifically designed for French-speaking professionals in Europe.

As operational, technological, climatic and human-related incidents continue to increase, many European organisations now have formalised business continuity plans in place. However, the ability of teams to manage incidents effectively is still often insufficiently tested in real-world conditions.

BCI training and certifications are designed precisely to strengthen these capabilities by developing practical skills, operational reflexes and effective coordination, supporting the practical application of existing standards and frameworks.

Four Key Themes to Strengthen Business Continuity Capabilities

The Business Continuity Institute’s training offering for Francophone Europe will focus on four essential themes, addressing the most common challenges faced by organisations:

  • designing and delivering truly effective business continuity exercises (view the course);
  • conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) that support informed decision-making (view the course);
  • incident response and crisis management (view the course);
  • access to the CBCI certification, globally recognised as a professional reference in business continuity (view the course).

A Training Offer Fully Adapted to the French-speaking professionals in Europe

The first sessions for professionals in Europe are scheduled to begin in March 2026 and will be delivered from Paris, in the Central European Time zone (CET – UTC+1 / CEST – UTC+2).

The BCI training courses have been adapted to reflect the specific realities of Francophone Europe, including linguistic, cultural and organisational considerations. They take into account varying levels of maturity in business continuity practices and prioritise an operational, hands-on learning approach.

Training delivery is based on practical scenarios, case studies and experience-sharing, enabling participants to internalise key concepts and apply them effectively within their professional environments.

The courses will be led by Thomas Scorticati, a BCI-certified instructor and recognised expert in business continuity and crisis management. With over ten years of experience across France, Canada and Peru, he supports major organisations in auditing and implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
